It started with a draft that nobody could supply
In 2014 our founders ran a weekly draft in a rented function room. The pod grew from eight players to twenty-four, and the local supply chain simply could not keep up — boxes arrived late, arrived crushed, or arrived as “the distributor sent something else instead”. Buying two extra displays a week for the group turned into buying a pallet, and buying a pallet turned into a business licence.
From spare room to racking
The first two years were a spare room with a laminate table and a domestic label printer. What forced the move to a real warehouse was not sales volume — it was damage. Stacking displays in a room that swung fifteen degrees between night and day produced warped boxes, and warped boxes make unhappy collectors. Climate control was the first serious cheque we wrote.
Today the racking is temperature and humidity logged, pallets are rotated FIFO, and every case is scanned at breakdown so we know which distribution shipment any given display came from.
Why the catalogue looks the way it does
We list what we hold. That is why you will find 22 sets here rather than a synthetic catalogue of everything ever printed — older releases appear when we secure original distribution cases and disappear when they sell out, because we will not restock them from the secondary market at a markup and call it retail.
The accessories range exists for the same reason: after a decade of shipping sealed product we have watched a lot of expensive pulls get ruined by cheap sleeves.
Where we are now
The team is small enough that the person who answers your email has probably picked your order. That is a deliberate ceiling, not a stage we are trying to grow out of. We would rather ship 362 listings properly than ten thousand badly.
